SUNGLOW
Glow is an annual three-day camping festival near Lost Maples, TX. Attendees perform music, lead workshops and chill out with each other. The festival has a whimsical DIY ethos and emphasis on minimizing environmental impact. Think Burning Man for 50 people. 2024's theme was SunGlow, so I incorporated vibrant, high saturation colors, such as the blue used in cyanotypes, a photo-sensitive medium. I was inspired by the crafty playfulness of Matisse's cut outs, the hot weather, and river that runs through the campground.
