I'm Kate, a graphic designer, with experience in illustration, photography, and short form video production. I currently am the full-time in-house graphic designer at Precision Camera & Video, a regional camera store in Texas.  I was born, raised, and am currently based in sunny Austin, Texas.

I came to practice graphic design out of love for printed material: posters, magazines, books, packaging and postcards. In my current position at Precision Camera & Video, I design everything from billboards to business cards, as well as a large variety of digital assets.
Technical skills include: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, Figma,
In 2018, began to photograph for my university's yearbook, The Mirage. I fell in love especially with capturing the vitality of candid moments, and took on more work as a photojournalist at the school paper, The Trinitonian. Since then, I have continued to develop my skills through university classes and Precision Camera's classes, which are free to employees. I take one every month!
In addition to the Trinitonian and the Mirage my work has appeared in High Noon, Blisters Mag, and more!
Technical skills include: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Digital & Film Photography
Last on the list but first to touch my heart, illustration sparked my initial interest in visual culture. I begun illustrating professionally in 2020. As my campus shut down in March due to COVID-19, the school paper could no longer publish photographs, as there were no events going on to take pictures of. I switched to creating illustrations to accompany stories instead. I began to realize that creating editorial illustrations stretched my creativity in new ways that I adore.
My work has been published in Verses Mag.
Technical skills include: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, illustration in traditional mediums such as colored pencil, ink, and gouache.
